BERETTA Beretta x Oakley 500 Year Glasses

Created in a numbered edition of just 500 pieces made in Italy, these celebratory glasses are born from the encounter between two design languages ​​united by the same vision: transforming technical innovation, formal research, and manufacturing culture into a simple and timeless object.

The mask silhouette recalls the wraparound and aerodynamic proportions of Oakley’s iconic eyewear from the 1990s, a format that helped define the brand’s most radical and innovative language. Reinterpreted through a contemporary titanium construction, the frame expresses a technical and sophisticated presence, designed to combine comfort, lightness, and formal purity.

The frame’s fluid surfaces introduce a clear reference to the Beretta 486 by Marc Newson, one of the most iconic projects in the recent history of Fabbrica d’Armi Pietro Beretta. The soft transitions, continuous volumes, and sculpted geometries reinterpret the language of the rifle through a contemporary sensibility, creating a natural balance between firearms heritage and industrial design.

The celebratory details are discreetly integrated within the construction. The blue inserts recall the historic “Gun Blue” finish, a feature deeply rooted in Beretta’s gunmaking tradition and luxury rifles. The individual progressive numbering is located inside the forend, while the Beretta logo engraved on the lens adds a discreet technical detail. On the nosepad, the Beretta 500 Years logo completes the object with a simple and understated reference to its identity.

The project comes with a dedicated polished metal case with a shell construction, inspired by the vacuum-sealed shapes of technical holsters used in the gunsmithing world. This solution is designed as a natural extension of the glasses themselves, evoking precision, protection, and design research.
