What you can send back, in what condition, and the one category where European consumer law and firearms law pull in different directions.
Unrestricted goods
Optics, clothing, cases, safes, gun care and accessories are covered by the right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. You have fourteen days from receipt to tell us you are withdrawing, and a further fourteen days to return the goods. You do not have to give a reason.
Goods should come back in a condition that lets them be resold. You may examine an item as you would in a shop. Handling beyond that, such as mounting a scope and zeroing it, may reduce what we can refund.
Firearms and ammunition
The withdrawal right exists here too, but exercising it is not a matter of putting something back in a box. A firearm returning to us is a transfer in its own right, and it needs the same permissions in reverse that sending it required, including the authorisation of both member states where a border is crossed. Contact us before returning anything restricted. Do not ship a firearm or ammunition to us unannounced.
Ammunition that has left our control cannot be returned to saleable stock in most circumstances, for reasons of safety rather than commerce.
Faults
Goods that are faulty or not as described are a separate matter from withdrawal, and your statutory rights under EU consumer law are not affected by anything on this page or in our terms. Manufacturer warranties run alongside those rights rather than replacing them.
How to start a return
Write to info@eu-gunfactory.com with your order reference and what you want to return. For restricted items, wait for our instructions before sending anything.
OWNER INPUT REQUIRED. Return address, who pays return carriage, refund timescales and the handling of restricted returns must be confirmed and reviewed before launch. Withdrawal-right exceptions for licensed goods differ by member state.
